Mr. Ahmad Al-Imam Abdullahi

Mr. Ahmad Al-Imam Abdullahi is a Career Diplomat in the Nigerian Foreign Service with extensive experience in Diplomacy, International Relations, Policy Planning, and Multilateral Affairs. He currently serves as Desk Officer for IAEA/UNIDO at the United Nations Office in Vienna.

He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2017. Since then, he has served in different capacities within the Ministry. He worked as Third Secretary in the Posting and Passage Division. He also served at the Foreign Service Academy in Lagos.

As Second Secretary, he was a Protocol Officer at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and later acted as Head of Protocol at the Presidential Wing. He was later deployed as First Secretary in the Physical Planning Division under the Directorate of Planning, Research, and Statistics (PRS).

Ahmad has served in various Nigerian Embassies. He was posted to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an Attachment Officer. He also served at the Nigeria Embassy in Switzerland as Head of Chancery, handling the Economic, Political, and Consular desks.

He currently serves as Desk Officer for IAEA/UNIDO at the United Nations Office in Vienna.
